I ordered every flavor when it was on an extreme sale, and have so far tried the raspberry lemonade, cherry esquisite, and orange cream.
First of all, I'll say all of them are going to be superior in quality to any concentrate or blended protein, being that they're pure isolate. That should go without saying.
Mixability isn't quite as good as Nectar, but not far behind...it mixes well in a shaker bottle.
As far as taste goes, so far orange cream is the heavy favorite. It reminds me a lot of the old orange dreamsicle ice cream treats or an orange julius. I actually look forward to the taste.
Raspberry lemonade was my second fav, but tasted stronger and was good, but by the end of one tub, I was ready for a new flavor. It'd be fine, I'd say, to alternate w/ another flavor, to mix things up.
Cherry was pretty good, but a little sweet, and had just a hint of a flavor that almost reminds you of kid's cherry cough syrup. Definately not bad at all, but not the best of the flavors, in my opinion.
I have yet to try the green apple, but I'm sure it's probably very good, as are the rest of the flavors. If you can catch this on sale to justify the price, I'd definately recommend it. |
