First off, I'm a fan of Ergopharm's GF-Pro. When I looked at the ingredient list, the I-Pro and the GF-Pro looked to be virtually the same product. Well, they are not. The I-Pro is basically GF-Pro, minis the Spray Dried Bovine Plasma. Even though B/N lists it in the ingredient list on this web site, I-Pro does NOT contain the Plasma.
I've tried the Green Apple and Cherry Blast. Taste and mixablity are pretty much on par with the GF-Pro. I like to mix mine with Hood Carb Countdown Fat Free Milk Beverage which greatly improves the taste over mixing with water, while adding 8 grams of protein, but only 3 grams of milk sugar (lactose) and 45 calories (far less then regular skim milk).
Those who prefer sugary drinks will probably not like the taste of many of the Sucrolose/Ace P sweetened proteins, and would more than likely prefer a sugar sweetened product like Muscle Milk. Since I do not consume processed sugars, the taste of this product is just fine. Be warned that I-Pro does contain Malic Acid, which is used in the food industry for tartness (Jolly Ranchers and Sweet Tarts contain Malic Acid). If you are sensitive to it, Malic Acid can also cause mouth irritation. Oh, and for the ladies, if you are pregnant or nursing, many doctors warn that you should avoid Malic Acid and therefore this product.
