So I've been using this supplement for 2 weeks now. I'm currently in the middle of an HST routine and so far I'm not dissatisfied. I first began by taking only one scoop, because I didn't know how I would react to it. One scoop felt harmless, so I took one and a half. 1 1/2 felt harmless too, so I upped it to 2 scoops. Their supposed mental focus is definitely evident. I don't know if you can deem it mental focus to work out, but you certainly feel your brain going into overdrive.
As for these pumps it claims to provide, well I don't know if I necessarily saw too much of an increased pump. Something was there, I did feel tighter and all, but nothing similar to what it reports to do. It suggests you take about 120oz of water a day, which may sound like a lot, but is do-able. The one thing I hate is the fact that I have to take my PWO about 1 hour before I take this. I usually take my 100% ON whey and then drink about 25 oz of water to wash it down since I feel that even after the hour I might still be digesting the protein. I did take the No-Xplode on a day where I felt I was processing the protein and sure enough, the mental focus just wasn't there.
I haven't felt any weird stomach upsetness or diarrhea or headaches as others have claimed. This may be a result of the gradual increase in servings. If you're taking 2 or 3 scoops per serving, the stuff can be pretty potent. Start of slow then amp the servings.
I enjoy taking the supplement, but I don't know if 39.99 is worth it. I might buy another container to be on it for 30 days as the label suggests and see if I feel any significant changes then. For now, I recommend this. |
