This is a very good protein, just don't buy any chocolate flavour as it's revolting, The product is also ridiculously overpriced, but it's muscletech so 99% goes towards marketing and lining pockets..that said it's the only decent thing they make.
W.r.t. Hammerheads comment. I have just spent 5 years at one of the worlds leading sports unis (won't disclose which one), and as much as I always look at research before trustong anything, Uni's are very open to big companies generosity. Just because muscletech can 'buy a jury' doesn't make their products great. Muscletech have the right idea about putting certain nutritional formulations together, but take the p### when it comes to charging their customers for their marketing and sponsership. Cell tech is a classic example, it contains the correct dosage of simple carbs (sugar) for the 95th percentile of people to take after training, but to charge the fantasy amount they do for adding sugar and ala to creatine is nuts. I would prefer they stood by their words concentrated on providing money to respected uni, publish their data without 'glossy media' and without the likes of sponsering Jay Cutler and shoving his ass in our faces everytime we see their name. If they really care about multi million dollar research they should really give the larger amount of their charitable donations to guys that can count above 10.
In short as successful (success in terms of customer satifaction not annual turnover)supplement companies are finding, they should keep their products to be value for money. Cell tech needent have that amount of simple carb as it's easy enough to add. Nitro Tech has a nice ratio of ingredients, but is still overpriced. Their products are just well marketed and easy on the eye..sorry muscletech but i'm not a mug! |
