Let's start with the taste. It's absolutely wonderful, to say the least. A bit on the chemical side, but it basically tastes like a snickers bar.
Nutrition-wise, it has a ton of good protein, so that's a plus. The problem comes when you look at the rest of the nutrition. These are loaded with bad fat and a ton of sugar and not very much fiber. The protein is the only thing that saves these guys from being nothing more than gloried snickers bars. A better choice would be promax oatrageous, which has decent taste, about 1/3 of the sugar, a lot more fiber and almost no bad fat.
Definately don't eat these unless you want to a) lower your insulin sensitivity and b) store more fat than you originally planned. |
