Brewers yeast is one of those 'superfoods' that nutritionists go on about (like spirulina and kale), because it is packed full of nutrients, esp. key minerals and vits that sportspeaople can really benefit from (zinc, iron, B vits). Unfortunately, it tastes hideous (every brand i've ever tried) - adding some sweetner or sugar to it can help, but only a little bit. |
