This stuff mixes faster than anything out there that I've found, and it mixes very thoroughly It almost has a sand-like texture prior to mixing, but it doesn't clump at all or produce any kind of grittiness after it has been mixed with water.
I tried the Strawberry-Banana flavor, and the flavoring is very artificial and inaccurate, much like the regular (non-fruit flavor) Elite whey, but unlike the Elite it is not overwhelming. It leaves just a small hint of dairy aftertaste, but not enough to bother me. I don't taste any banana flavoring at all, as it tastes more like those strawberry Christmas candies to me....not even as accurate as a strawyberry jolly rancher.
Overall, this is a very good whey protein, and one I wouldn't mind occassionally rotating into my diet now and then. I just wish the flavoring was more like real Strawberry-Banana. These guys could learn something from Champion's products when it comes to flavoring, and Champion could learn something from these guys about "quick mixing." Maybe mixing the two together (with Champion's banana) would produce an ideal product. ;) Just kidding...
