Tried Acetyl-L-Carnitine and it worked great. Switched to L-Carnitine and I started having a foul body odour. People at my work started noticing a "fishy odour" every time they walked past the lobby, and eventually I realized it was me. Also noticed an ammonia like feel to my toungue and general HORRIBLE body odour that has not gone away even at drinking 2+ gallons of water a day. Not saying its a "bad" product, but I guess its an issure with proper breakdown of L-Carnitine, few people have a problem, most people don't. Some liver issue- possibly from the heavy methyl use months prior, oh well I knew what I was getting into, but I didnt think it would be a problem for me (Not trying to trash talk methyls-they are great, the best experience I've ever had with supplements- and the worst. Its just now that they will be illegal there should be no harm in speaking of the real side effects from it). Well, if you do have a problem with L-Carnitine and wanted to try a substitute, try the Acetyl form, can say first hand that Acetyl-L-Carnitine worked "odour" free. |
