L-Theanine has a noticeable effect on me at only 200mg. I have to play around with the doses a bit more though.
It kicks in pretty quickly (1-2 hours)...but the effects weren't very long.
I also wish it was more consistent. Because for me, I start feeling it after about 1-2 hours, and then I become extremely relaxed (not in a tired way but more in a heavy way) and feel warm. Then, after a couple hours, the heaviness disappears and leaves this really good clear feeling. It doesn't feel like a buzz or anything, but it reminds me of a perfect summer night with the perfect temperature and breeze- type of feeling. But that good feeling only lasts about an hour for me. Then it starts wearing off. If this lasted longer, it would be perfect.
