I stumbled accros this book when it was displayed in the What is new window of this site. The book is incredible! Very well written, easy to read, backed with 270 scientific references from sources like European Journal of Applied Physiology or Canadian Journal of Sport Sciences, etc. I have been lifting for more than 25 years (yeah, I am that old) but have to admit that after my today's shoulders training session I can feel my deltoids like never before. And this after only 50 minutes and less sets with less reps! Of course I heard about the importance of the negative phase of the rep already a long time ago, but it never was, IMHO, so intelligently explained and underscored like in this book. Thus, I never executed it as dilligently as after having read this book. I regret only that I did not see at the time of my last order that there was another book from the same author on this site. I will definitely order it with my next supps. Thank you very much Rob! |
