I'd like to comment on this product (obviously), or perhaps more so comment on the other comments. supplements (like many things in this world...) are not as cut and dry as they seem. How well it works (and whether or not it does) depends a lot upon research design. As a personal trainer, I've recommended this product to many of my clients on a personal level. I also use it. I have had good results with CLA and so have several of my clients. A few of them think that CLA does nothing for them. Not everyone's the same. So, if it works for you- there's research data to support your experience. If it didn't work for you, guess what: you have some research data that you can claim for your cause as well. (viva la comment post & forums) The research that i've seen (btw, you can probably see all this in more from my posts on 1-fast-400's CLA product) indicates that yes, you need to take CLA regularly for it to work, and that 4.2g/day of CLA (5-6 of these caps) is the threshold required for results. I wrote a paper on this a few years ago for a research design class, that's my claim to knowing anything about it.
I'd also like to say that NOW FOODS has my support, as they don't spend money on all the gimmick stuff that other supplement companies do. They accurately label their product. It's a great brand for the informed consumer looking for a quality product.
As with sven, I have also been taking cla for a few years, and i recently ran out... unfortunately i can't seem to get a hold of bulknutrition to find out if they're going to carry the 1fast-400 1000ct container again. |
