Tastes pretty good, doesn't have that aftertaste like artificial sweeteners do, and it's a gram-for-gram substitute for sugar so you don't have to get special recipes for it, just throw it in any recipe instead of sugar. The cooling effect is novel. This had no side-effects like most sugar alchohols give me (You know the one I'm talking about, where you feel like someone slipped you ex-lax).
The only bad thing is the price when compared to sucrose. But considering the effects of sucrose, it's hard to say your health isn't worth it. |
