i've given no-xplode a try for a few workouts now, and i'd consider myself a satisfied user to this point.
i've found that it takes me about 2.5 scoops to obtain a noticeable benefit, while mixing with 16oz of cold water gives the best taste (blue raspberry flavor, it's definitely "drinkable").
the largest benefit i've noticed is the increased focus during my workouts. i feel more prepared to lift, and the focus remains constant throughout my workout. i also find myself wanting to do 'one last set' or even to hop on the elip or stepper for a few minutes when i'm done lifting (on non-cardio days). this could just be a placebo-type effect of using a new product, and the mental 'hype' that one usually goes through when first starting on one, but as this effect is similar to what others have experienced (and in accordance with the manufacturer's claims), i'll give the nod to no-xplode.
i have also experienced decent pumps with the product. i experience increased vascularity, especially in my biceps and forearms. i definitely notice increased pumps, obviously relating to whichever body part(s) i'm working that particular day. i have not experienced any pumps that last more than an hour or so after my workout is over, however.
as a sidenote, i'm currently taking gnc's megamen daily vitamins, along with 9g (3/3x) fish oils, and designer whey protein (post-workout).
i gave the product a 4/5, due to my lingering thoughts about the product's price vs. effects/performance. i would probably buy the product again, assuming it doesn't lose its effects as many previous reviews have claimed. i will definitely buy the product again if i begin to notice my efforts falling off in the gym. |
